PAUL H OSWALD Jr 82 formerly of Versailles passed away Sunday August 23, 2015 at the Waters of Batesville.
Paul was born Friday August 18, 1933 in Batesville the son of Paul H Sr and Dorothy (Goldsmith) Oswald.
He was a Korean Army Veteran having served in the 101st Airborne Division and a member of the American Legion. He was a retired employee of 35 years of the United Telephone Co. Paul was a member of the Catholic faith and enjoyed the computer, fly fishing, wood working, piddling, reading and learning, and he loved to cook.
Paul is survived by sons Dennis Oswald of Milan, Tim Oswald of Batesville, Terry (Barbara) Oswald of West Chester, Ohio, daughters Cathy Green of Batesville, Theresa Oswald of Milan, 4 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, brothers Ronnie and Gary Oswald, sisters Yvonne Powell, Claudia Willard, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jim and John Oswald.
Funeral services will be at 7 pm Thursday August 27, 2015 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home Milan. Visitation will also be Thursday 5-7 at the funeral home. Military Rites will be performed by the Milan American Legion Post #235. Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
