Mrs. Warren was a member of Baker Baptist Church. She was a retired seamstress from several manufacturing plants and worked in food services at Southwest Laurens Elementary School. Mrs. Warrren was a loving mother and nanny, and wonderful cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Warren, and parents, George and Maudie Rea New Giddens.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Frank) Morgan, of Dublin, Lisa (Ron) Gay, of Rentz, and Cindy (Nelson) Ammerman, of Dublin; brothers and sisters, Grafton (Mary Jane) Giddens, of Dexter, Maulene (Larry) Graham, of East Dublin, Waymon (Jan) Giddens, of Dublin, Imagene Dixon, of Rentz, and, Margie (Ronald) Scott, of Dublin; grandchildren, Amber (Dain) Osburn, of Rentz, Blake Morgan, of Macon, Ryan Gay, of Montrose, Rett (Rylie) Gay, of Rentz, Molli Ammerman, of Savannah, Wesley Ammerman, of Dublin, and Mallori Ammerman, of Dublin; and great grandchildren, Keagan Osburn, Kaden Osburn, Ruger Gay, Daxton Gay, and Laikyn Gay.
Ryan Gay, Rett Gay, Blake Morgan, Wesley Ammerman, Dain Osburn, and Jack Stewart will serve as pallbearers.
Services for Betty Jean Warren, age 73, of Dublin, will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2019, at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gay Cemetery. Jeff Handley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM. Mrs. Warren died Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
