Gordon H. Parker, 92, of Ottawa passed away March 4, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday March 8, 2019 at Ottawa Funeral Home with Reverend William Clark officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Ottawa Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Memorial Park at a later date.

Gordon was born November 28, 1926 in Streator, Illinois to Elmer Parker and Ada (McAllister) Parker. He married Janice Parker on September 16, 1950 in Ottawa; she passed away August 31, 2012. Gordon loved watching WWE wrestling on Monday and Tuesday nights. He enjoyed stopping for coffee and a meal with the "counter critters" at the HiWay. Gordon enjoyed carving and building custom furniture.

Gordon is survived by his son, Jon (Judy) Parker of Ottawa; and daughters: Diane (Bill) Rogers of Ottawa, Gay (Richard) Manella of Westlake, Ohio, and Eva (Ken) Anderson of Oglesby; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Escher.

Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Parker; his daughter in infancy, Jill Parker; his parents; and two siblings: William Parker and Margaret Luke.
