Audrey Faye King, 67, died early Wednesday morning (March 6, 2019) at Memorial Satilla Health following a brief illness.
She was a native of Waycross and had lived for the past 19 years in the Telmore Community. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Lucas Youmans, her step-father Lonnie Youmans, her twin sister Vivian Kaye Pittman, and a grandson Austin Garvis Smith.
She was a 1970 graduate of Waycross High School and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Okefenokee Technical College. She was a former seamstress with the Cap Factory, a fromer employee of Rubin Brothers Footwear and clerk with the BP Convenience Store on State Street. She was a member of Waresboro Baptist Church. She was very active in all areas of church work including church pianist and Soloist.
Survivors include her husband of 19 years, Randy King of Telmore,

Chuck Smith (wife Jalynn) of Dixie Union;
a step daughter Shannon King of Millwood;
9 grandchildren
William Carter, Devin Smith (wife Imelda), Leye Roy Carter (wife Emily), Brook Peterson, Victoria Lynn Revels, Tamara Torres, Fernanda Torres, Trinity King and Austin King;
a brother Guy Walker (wife Lorene) of New Mexico,
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday (March 9, 2019) at Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hephzibah Cemetery near Dixie Union. Members of the Waresboro Baptist Church are asked to gather at the chapel at 10:30 AM Saturday to serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the home of Chuck and Jalynn Smith, 654 Twyman Smith Rd in Dixie Union and from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday evening at Music Funeral Home.
Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
