JUDY FLETCHER OBITUARY FROM GEORGE CARROLL & SONS FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE
It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Fletcher announces her passing on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Pastor Clay Horton from Flower Mound, TX will conduct the funeral service, which is set for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Geo. J. Carroll Funeral followed by a private burial. A visitation will be held at the Geo. J. Carroll Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Judy was born on October 27 in Ft. Worth, TX to Brady Turley and Lillian (Griffith) Turley. Judy attended schools in Gainesville, TX. She furthered her education at Cooke County College (NCTC) and received her degree as a Registered Nurse.

She was a well known nurse in the Emergency Room at Gainesville Memorial Hospital for many years, followed by service as a director of Home Health for multiple agencies. Upon retirement, she proudly served as a mentor for the nursing program at NCTC for several years. Judy will be remembered as a devoted, fun-loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who always gave of her time and heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brady and Lillian Turley, and her brother, Donald Turley.
Judy is survived by her husband, Terry Fletcher of Gainesville, TX; daughter Tammy and T.K. McGehee of Gainesville, TX; Son, Donny and Cathy Lloyd of Gainesville, TX; and daughter, Cynthia and Matt Nelson of Denton, TX. She is also survived by a step-son, Jason Fletcher of Wichita Kansas.

Granddaughters included Brittany Zielanski, Taylor Smith, Kiley Edington, and Victoria Schaeferling. She is also survived by three precious great-grandchildren. Step- grandchildren include Lyndon and Steel Fletcher, Brady, Colby and Bailey Green, and numerous other great grandchildren.
Pall-bearers are Jason Fletcher, Zack Zielanski, Kyle Smith, and WernerPaul Schaeferling.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Home Hospice of Cooke County.
