Mr. Brett Hamilton Lewis, 30, of Dunn died Wednesday evening February 27, 2019 at his home.
Brett was born on June 29, 1988, in Cumberland County and was a 2006 graduate of Midway High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl Hamilton, Jr, and Glenda "Peggy" McLeod Hamilton; paternal grandfather, E.A. Lewis and paternal step grandfather, William Daniel Hudson.
A funeral service was held 2 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Shady Grove OFWB Church with Rev. Chris Hall officiating.
Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Brett is survived by his parents, Steve and Sharon Hamilton Lewis of Dunn; girlfriend, Robbie Whittington; son and best friend, Greyson Lewis, and his buddy, Cash Ennis; paternal grandmother, Marie Wilson Hudson of Dunn; brother, Dane Lewis of Raleigh; niece, Noelle Lewis of Raleigh and nephew, Chi Johnson of Billings, Montana.
The family received friends Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home in Dunn.
