Sylvia I. Cooper (nee: Barth) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at the age of 84. Loving wife of the late Willard J. Cooper; beloved daughter of the late Clarence and Eulah Barth; devoted mother of David (Debbie) Cooper, Jerry Cooper, and Joyce (Don) Busch; cherished grandmother of 9; treasured great-grandmother of 18; and adored great-great-grandmother of 4. Sylvia was also preceded in death by her sisters Maxine (Les) Seabaugh and Ramona (Bob) Harper.

Sylvia dedicated more than 22 years as a bookkeeper for Christian Academy before retiring. She was strong in her faith and loved attending West End Church of Christ. She cherished spending time with her family and hosting get-togethers for dinners and special occasions. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and some of her family favorites included cakes and banana vanilla wafer pudding. When not entertaining, Sylvia loved to play cards and board games, and she was especially lucky at Bingo where she would win all the time. She also loved traveling to Nashville and Branson to watch country western shows. Sylvia was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
