Melissa Leigh Collins passed away Sunday March 1st, 2015. She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 18, 1983 and will be dearly missed.

She was very talented in creating skits and performing as Mustang Sally, the mascot at King High School for two years. She went on to earn her Bachelor Degree from Texas State University in 2008. Melissa also earned her Legal Assistant Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin and was employed as a paralegal with a local Austin law firm.

She enjoyed walking with her dog, Buddy, through the many parks in Austin.

Melissa spread friendship, joy and love to all who knew her. Her passing is a heart break to her family and all who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her parents Barbara and Chuck, her sister, Katherine, brother, Christopher, sister-in-law, Melissa Pruet Collins and niece Bradley Elisabeth Collins. Also her grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepard at 11am on Friday March 6, 2015 followed by a reception in the church parlor. A tribute page has been set up at for Melissa http://www.seasidefuneral.com/ where you can leave your your memories or photos.
