Vada Rose McKnight passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at her home in Oklahoma City. Vada was born in Freedom, OK on August 26, 1927 to Carl William and Opal Fleta Miller Lehr. Vada married Charles McKnight and they traveled throughout the US and Europe during his military career and then settled in Charleston, SC. Vada was a bookkeeper for many years. She came back to Oklahoma about 10 years ago. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Bonita Reid. Surviving her are 4 siblings, Robert Lehr, Wanita Cunningham, Carol Ingraham and Mary Fussell and well as many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
