Beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper. He was 74 years old. Dennis Edward Meyer was born on March 10, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Frederick and Audrey (Bunham) Meyer. He was a proud 1962 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, he attended both Delta College and the General Motors Institute of Technology. He married the love of his life, Patricia Ann Teter on September 9, 1973 in Saginaw; she survives him. Denny was employed as a plant superintendent with Delphi plants 4 and 5; retiring after 38 years of service. He enjoyed collecting coins, stain glass and fishing. Denny also enjoyed listening to country music and spending time with his beloved dog, Ike. He will forever be remembered for being kindhearted as well as for treating everyone with the reverence and respect they deserved.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Patricia Ann Meyer of Saginaw; a brother, Frederick (Mary Ann) Meyer; a brother-in-law, Kenneth (Peggy) Teter; and his maltese, Ike. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother; his parents, Frederick and Audrey Meyer; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Darlene Teter.
A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Chaplain Cathy Hare will officiate. Honoring Denny’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced in the spring. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Amazing Grace Pet Rescue or a charity of the donor’s choice.
