Joy Dee Adams (nee McCullough), a resident of Siena Gardens in Amelia and formerly of Bethel, passed away peacefully and went to Heaven surrounded by her loving family on March 4, 2019 at the age of 78. Joy was the beloved wife of Rodney Adams for almost 60 years, loving mother of Tony Adams (Carol), Mike Adams (Tiffany) and Sue Petrey (Tim), cherished grandmother of Bethany, Jason, Morgan (Eric), Elizabeth, Tyler, Cassy, Siara and Nate and great-grandmother of Carson, dear sister of Jim McCullough, Sharleen Squires, Karen Olson, Kathleen Flischel, Mike McCullough and the late Joseph, William, Daniel and Richard McCullough, devoted daughter of the late William and Havana Mae McCullough and daughter-in-law of the late Albert and Polly Adams. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Joy was selflessly devoted to her husband and entire family. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.Visitation will be held Thursday, March 7 from 11 AM until the time of funeral service at 1 PM at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia. Interment at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford.
