Schroeder, Robert L.,93, of Louisville, passed away on July 31, 2021 at Baptist Health Louisville with his family at his side. Robert was a retired employee of General Electric and a Marine veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Saint Gabriel Catholic Church.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2004; Ursuline Sister, Helen Marie Schroeder in 2000; and brother, John Schroeder in 2016.
He is survived by his children, Dennis Schroeder (Susan), Julie Breedlove, Amy Smith (Glendon), Keith Schroeder, and Monica Schroeder all of Louisville and Mary Mast (Russ) of Morehead, KY; grandchildren, Kelly Youngblood (Chad), Megan Harned (James), Caitlin Heidemann (Kevin), Lindsay Ramser, Sara Bowman (David), Abigail Costello (Robert), Matthew Schroeder, William Mast (Rachel), Emily Limoges (Rickie) and Andrew Mast; and 10 great grandchildren.
His funeral mass is 10:30am Wednesday August 4 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park to follow. Visitation is 3:00 – 7:00pm Tuesday, August 3 at Fern Creek Funeral Home 5406 Bardstown Road.
