Mr. Cartwright was preceded in death by his parents, and his loving wife, Patricia Page Cartwright. He is survived by his son, Grayson and wife Jennifer Cartwright of Winston-Salem; two sisters, Ruth Vestal of Greensboro, and Sybil Niblock of Salisbury; and a granddaughter, Arielle. He will be remembered as Grandpa Cartwright by many children from his church whom he loved dearly.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 2:30pm at Salem Baptist Church, 429 S. Broad Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Visitation will precede the service from 1:00-2:15pm. Burial will follow the service at Parklawn Memorial Park.
