Jimmy D. Wyble, 61, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, with military honors at 5:30 pm.
Jimmy was born July 4, 1946, in Tyler, Texas, to Cliff and Wilma Wyble. He was married on Feb. 4, 1972, to Patricia Ann Bruns in Columbia. Jimmy worked 34 years for the federal government. He split his time between the Soil Conservation Service and the Army Corps of Engineers. Jimmy enjoyed all facets of sport, more specifically, fishing, hunting and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Patricia; three children, Jimmy Wyble Jr. and wife Lori of Troy, Bryce Wybly and wife Jennifer of Troy, and Kimberly Beal and husband Jason of Ankeny; nine grandchildren, McKenzie, Peyton, Jackson, Delaney, Tabitha, Jacob, Jarrett, Hannah and Harrison; sister Sherry Bruns and husband Bob; and his father, Cliff Wyble.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Dale; brother Danny Wyble; and stepdad Monroe Dale.
