LeAnne Huntsman Beal 1959 ~ 2007

Surrounded by her family, LeAnne Huntsman Beal was greeted by ancestors, friends and loved ones on the other side of the veil, Saturday June 2, 2007, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born to Evan and Leona Huntsman, March 10, 1959 in Salina, Utah. Married Jene Beal in the Manti LDS Temple, on April 6, 1979. She had many great accomplishments in her life. She worked for Sanpete County as a Deputy Recorder, where she made many friends. She was heavily involved in politics and served as the Sanpete County Republican Party Chair, Vice Chair, South Area Representative, State Delegate, County Delegate, and she also served on the Republican State Central Committee. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many positions, among her favorites were in the Young Women, and of course, scouting. She earned her Young Women's Medallion as an adult leader and she was also awarded the Silver Beaver. LeAnne, always felt however, that her finest accomplishment was her family, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She immersed herself entirely in whatever she committed to do. She felt that whatever she did, had to be done with perfection and completely. She never did anything halfway. LeAnne loved to camp, travel and make memories with her family. She was always trying to teach her family while making those memories. She had a talent for finding the profound in the simplest things, and was ever grateful for whatever opportunities the Lord placed before her. Each moment and event was a teaching moment and in every situation there was something to learn. She taught divine principles to her last breath. Her endurance was monumental and her patience was staggering.

She is survived by her husband and four daughters: Lauriza (Dean), Telasia (Joel), Jenessa, Natalya; son: McKuhla J Allen; four grand children, Taylor Lynn, Adalee LeAnne, Morgan Anne, and Spencer Joel; her mother; six sisters: EvaLynn (Russell), Elayne (James), Loraine (Steve), Lisa (Roger), Emily (Quinton), and Lorilee (Taylor); brothers: Leland (Irene), and Leon (Heidi).

The family would like to express their special thanks to all the good folks from hospice for the special attention they gave her, her special Manti 4th Ward Family, the Rasmussen Mortuary, Ilene Roth and the Rat Fink Gang.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 7, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the Manti Stake Center at 295 South Main. A viewing will be held Wednesday at 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. in the Manti Stake Center, prior to services. Interment in the Manti City Cemetery.

The obituary was published on 5 June 2007 in both the Salt Lake Tribune and The Deseret News.
