Edward "Butch" Cooper, age 79, of Cadiz, KY, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Mr. Cooper was a Heavy and Tractor-trailer Truck Driver that worked 45 years in commercial transportation for McLean Trucking Company and Bestway Express. He served in the United States Coast Guard, was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hopkinsville, KY and was a former Scout Leader of Hopkinsville Boy Scout Troop 3123.

He is survived by: One Son- Darryl Cooper (Linda), Cadiz, KY, Two Daughters- Julie Coleman (Rex), Cadiz, KY, Vickie Deer, Cadiz, KY, Six Grandchildren- Nicole Edmonds (Sean), Rusty Deer, Brandi Pilarski (Aaron), Jason Cooper (Heather), Justin Cooper (Heather), Christopher Lovell (Stacy), Thirteen Great Grandchildren- Jordan Edmonds, Aydan Edmonds, Summer Vetzel, Autumn Pilarski, Skyler Cooper, Trevor Cooper, Branson Cooper, Brinley Cooper, Calyn Cooper, Payton Larve, Wesley P'Pool, Hannah Lovell, Haley Lovell and Four Sisters- Donna Kay Allen, Henderson, KY, Carol Reed, Smyrna, TN, Marie Crabtree, Evansville, IN, Karen Ellis, Evansville, IN.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, KY where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2019. The funeral service will be at Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2019 with the Pastor Robert Mader officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY.
