She was the daughter of the late Hank and Minnie Lemons and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Chambers and eight siblings.
Libby was born January 21, 1926, in Decatur, Tennessee. She retired from Kleen-A-Matic Dry Cleaners on Highway 58 where she was the assistant manager.
She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Chattanooga and also the Eastern Star in Calhoun, TN.
Survivors include her two sons, Ronald Chambers (Wanda), David Chambers (Sue), three grandsons, Greg Chambers, Jeff Chambers and Chris Chambers (Danielle), three great grandchildren, Katie, Caroline and Blake Chambers, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2019, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Dallas Beck officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the funeral home.
