Katherine E. Black, age 93, formerly of Greenmount, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home. Born August 12, 1925, at Greenmount, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Tom H. and Sallie Hunt Black. She taught 38 years in the Laurel County School System with 34 years at Hazel Green. She was a graduate of Annville Institute, Sue Bennett College and Eastern Kentucky University. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of London and a collector of antiques for more than 50 years.
Graveside services will be 1 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park with Delmer Gross officiating
