Michael was a graduate of Broomfield High School, the University of Colorado, Boulder Colorado, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Steubenville, Ohio, Conception Seminary College, Conception, Missouri, North American College, Rome, Italy, Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, Italy and Franciscan Biblical School & Ecole Biblique Jerusalem.
He was ordained a priest buy Archbishop J. Francis Stafford June 30 1990 and appointed RANK OF CHAPLAIN TO HIS HOLINESS, POPE BENEDICT XVI: Title of Monsignor, on July 7, 2009.
Fr. Michael served as the rector of St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, and served as a Parochial Vicar of Spirit of Christ, Arvada; and Pastor of St. Mary Parish, Aspen; St. Mary Parish, Breckenridge, Our Lady of Peace Silverthorne. He also serviced and the Priest Secretary to Archbishop J. Francis Stafford and Vice Chancellor for the Archdiocese of Denver .
