Bernice Estelle Teters, 85, of Parkersburg, WV passed away at the Genesis, Willows Center, Parkersburg. She was born March 27, 1933 in Parkersburg, the daughter of the late James and Grace Lemon.

Bernice was a retired homemaker and a Baptist by faith. Bernice is survived by her sons, David (Cindy) Teters of Walker, James (Tonda) Teters of Washington, Paul Teters of Parkersburg, sister, Dorothy Swiger of Parkersburg, 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband James, sons, Allen, Donny and Tommy Teters, 3 sisters, Stella Miller, Betty Giffin and Nellie Taggart, 4 brothers, Audra Lemon, Carl Lemon, Willard Lemon and Woodrow Lemon.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of the Willows Center as well as the Amedisys Hospice team for the peace and comfort they provided. A private service is scheduled for March 5, 2019 with final resting in the Garden of Christus, Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg.
