Fred Carson Bryant, 85 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Friday, March 1, 2019, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Fred was born Thursday, October 19, 1933, in Baxter, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Bice Finis and Mamie Maggie Margaret Pauline (Dennis) Bryant.

Fred was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Pa, and PaPa. Fred was in the Tennessee National Guard. He worked at the Cordell Hull Dam, retired from Tennessee Tech with 32 + years and worked at a TN State Prison as an officer. Fred owned and operated Fred's Auto Sales from 1973 until present. He was also a Mason. Fred had a generous heart and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

7 Great Grand Children: Cameron Bilbrey, Madisyn Dull, Dane, Zoey, and Jax Harper, Jackson and Harper Sidwell.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by Sister and Brother in law, Ethelbert Jean and Wayne Lollis; Brother in law, Junior Harville; Brother and Sister in law, Jack and Elene Bryant; Grandson, Kristopher JL Wayne Bryant; First Wife, Bonnie (Raymer) Bryant; Son, Carson Wayne Bryant and Daughter in law, Janet Harper.

Funeral Service for Fred Carson Bryant will be held Monday, March 4, 2019, at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2019, 11:00 am until 5:00 pm on Sunday, March 3, 2019, and 10:00 am until time of services on Monday, March 4, 2019, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Donations are asked to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital in memory of Fred Carson Bryant.
