"James RAPLEE was a native of New Jersey, as was his wife, Byer MORSE. They followed their son Stephen with the residue of the family, and settled near the Lake on Indian Run, in the neighborhood of the Shannon Mill, in 1805. Their children who were all born in New Jersey were, Andrew, Stephen, Joshua, Ezra, James, Thomas, Lucretia, Lydia, Byer, Elizabeth, Sarah and Polly.
