Son of William Henry Masonbrink and Virginia Belle Wade.
m1: Oleta Lee Mills at Creighton MO Dec 18 1910; two children, Rolla and Laverne. Oleta died in 1952.

m2: Mrs. Lois Kimble-Coleman Jan 2 1954. Lois was dau of George Kimble and Ella Montgomery and widow of William Jackson Coleman. She is buried in Byler Cem on dbl marker with 1st husband as Lois COLEMAN.

"Charles W. Masonbrink

Charles Wade Masonbrink, son of William Henry and Virginia Wade Masonbrink, was born near Wadesburg, Mo., on March 22, 1891. He departed from this life, March 16, 1973, just six days before his 82nd birthday.

On Febrary 5, he entered the Cass County Memorial hospital, Harrisonville, Mo., and was transferred to the St. Luke's hospital in Kansas City, Mo., on Febraury 26, where he received the best of medical care.

When a young man he became a member of the Methodist church at Grant and later changed his membership to the Methodist church at Creighton, where he remained a faithful member. His sincere Christian spirit was demonstrated many times through the months of his illness. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge.

On December 18, 1910, he was united in marriage with Oleta Lee Miles. Two children were born to bless this home, a son, Rolla, and a daughter, LaVerne. His wife, Mrs. Oleta Masonbrink, died on August 15, 1952.

A happy relationship was established on January 2, 1954, when he was united in marriage with Mrs. Lois Coleman in Garden City.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. Lois Masonbrink of the home; a son, Rolla Masonbrink of Mansfield, Illinois; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (LaVerne) Lindsay of Creighton. Besides his wife, the son and daughter, he leaves the daughter-in-law, Mrs. Rolla (Maxine) Masonbrink, the son-in-law, Charles Lindsay; four grandchildren, Mrs. Jack (Nancy) Lawrence of Woodridge, Illinois; R. C. Masonbrink of Champaign, Illinois; Charles Ray Lindsay of Holdrege, Nebraska; Mrs. Dean (Emilee) Snow of Riverside, Mo., and four great grandchildren.

He also leaves four step-children, Mrs. Marion (Ruth) Stephens of Kansas City, Kansas; Milton Coleman, of Adrian, Mo., Mrs. Louella Siegenthaler of Harrisonville, Mo., and Clarence Coleman of Las Cruces, New Mexico; nine step-grandchildren and thriteen step-great grandchildren; a brother, Austin Masonbrink of Adrian, and a sister, Mrs. Bernice Allbritten of Creighton, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service was conducted Monday afternoon, March 19, at the Creighton United Methodist church, Creighton, Mo., with the Rev. Mrs. Marie Hyatt officiating. Two songs, "Beyond the Sunset" and "In the Garden" were rendered by Mrs. Leonard Salmon, singer and Mrs. Esther Brown, organist.

The casket bearers were grandsons. Burial was made in the Grant cemetery, north of Creighton, Mo., under the directions of Snow's Funeral Home of Urich, Mo."
