Glenda Nell Salter (Freeman) Waller, age 52, passed away March 7, 2007, in Colorado Springs, Colo., after a courageous battle with cancer.

Glenda was born on Nov. 6, 1954, at the U.S. Air Force Hospital in Burton Wood, England. She attended elementary school at Mary Esther and graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School in 1973. She also attended Fort Walton Beach Vocational School and Grayson County College Nursing School in Sherman, Texas. Glenda had a love for sports.

Glenda was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Wayne Salter.

Glenda is survived by her parents, Ray and Frances Freeman of Mary Esther, Fla.; four children, Kelly Neasbitt of Colorado Springs, Scott White and wife Joy of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Josh Waller and wife Shelly of Tom Bean, Texas, and Jason Waller and wife Lindsey of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren, Dakota and Paige of Colorado Springs, and Ariel and Britt of Tom Bean; brother, Dave Salter and wife Linda of Mary Esther; sisters, Brenda Salter Reagen of Destin, Fla., and Barbara "Bobbi" Hunter and husband Gene of Mary Esther; and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Also, her two little dogs, Mac and Mitsy.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 12, at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, followed by burial at Beal Memorial Cemetery.

The family requests donations be made to Wright Baptist Church Building Fund or your local Hospice organization.
