He was born in Redkey on August 20, 1928 to Earl and Maude (Shook) Adamson and lived in the Hagerstown area most of his life. He was a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. and was a member of Congregational Christian Church, UCC.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Louise (Stohler) Adamson; two children, Gary L. Adamson (Kathy) of Centerville and Janell Davis (Joseph) of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Marc Adamson, Angela Mull (Jeff), Karen Cabassi (Sanee) and Natalie Davis; nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Bruce.
Visitation will be 10 AM to 12 PM on Tuesday, March 5, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 12 PM. Pastor Rick Alvey will officiate. Burial will be in Buena Vista Cemetery, Farmland.
Memorials may be made to Congregational Christian Church, UCC.
