It seems that James was a railway man (Ryman) all his working days, the census are hard to read but they all say something about the railway, his job when he died in 1919 in Toronto said he was a Traveling Auditor of the CPR...1891 he lived in Norwood Ontario ( near Peterbourgh) as an agent for the CPR......In 1901 he lived in Woodstock New Brunswick....... He married Ella Maude Harmon in St John New Brunswick in 1898 and their son Charles Harmon Reid was born there in 1899..... He and his family lived in Toronto in 1911 at 17 Constance St Toronto Ontario and that is where his Death Certificate indicated he lived when he died in 1919 of infuenza....James is buried here without a headstone
