Cheryl Ann Borbon, 64 of Merced passed away Tuesday, February 19th at her residence.
Mrs. Borbon was born in Oklahoma and was a resident of Merced for one year, previously residing in Gustine for many years. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 25 years. She enjoyed doing crafts and was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends and loved her animals.
Mrs. Borbon is survived by her daughters, LaVonna Wagner and Stephanie Ellis; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Rick Areias and Faron Knowles; sisters, Deborah Osborn, Pamela Gibbs, Shanee Bento, Jodi Agular, Rebecca Knowles and Teresa Reis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 28th at Hillview Funeral Chapel in Gustine. Inurnment will be at Hills Ferry Cemetery at a later date.

I know this because ahe was my older sister. She taught me alot things, she took care of me when i was very little while my parents worked. It was a big shock when she passed away. How can a women who loved to live life at the fullest, and a strong women at age.64 passed away peacefully in her sleep. Cheryl has 2 grown daughters both in texas and 7 grand children.
