JoAnn Vinson, age 81, a Harrisburg resident of 50 years, passed peacefully on her way to heaven on January 12, 2019.
She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Vinson; daughter of the late Mary and Earl Oliver; loving mother of her children, Teresa Menke, Terry Ruhl, Tami McNearney; and grandchildren, Amanda Blumenthal, Alex Ruhl, Spencer Ruhl, Ezekiel Menke; brothers, Charles Oliver and wife Freda, Richard Oliver and wife Phyllis, Albert Oliver and wife Patti, Warren (deceased) and sisters, Nyoka Shelburn, and Loretta Pierce and husband Dean.
A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4pm until 5pm on Saturday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joann Vinson's memory to Hospice of Central PA (HCP), Development Department, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
