Joyce Reynolds, of Wellington, Kansas, died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 64.

Joyce was born the daughter of John "Ray" and Margaret Julia (Neff) Rains on Friday, August 13, 1954 in Wellington, Kansas.

On September 17, 1979, Joyce and Larry Reynolds were united in marriage at First Southern Baptist Church in Wellington, Kansas. Together they celebrated 39 years of marriage.

Joyce and her husband enjoyed serving together in the VFW. She was Past VFW Auxiliary 881 President/Treasurer from 1979-1980, Past 5th District VFW Auxiliary President from 1982-1984 and was a founding committee member for the Avenue of Flags. Joyce was the Little League Football President in 1989. She was active in her church and was the First Christian Church treasurer as well as a deacon/deaconess and clerk to the Board. Joyce loved serving others and did so for many years through her church and Veteran organizations.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Reynolds of Wellington, Kansas; son, John Reynolds of Great Bend, Kansas; son, Steven Reynolds and his wife Sarah of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Lisa Kuchar and her husband Lewis of South Haven, Kansas, grandchildren: Reggan Reynolds, Zachary Reynolds, Hunter Reynolds, Derek Reynolds, Lucas Kuchar, Landon Kuchar, Dakota Reynolds, Brooklyn Reynolds, Logan Kuchar and Loren Kuchar, great-grandchildren: Chloe Townsend, Salem Reynolds and Lennox Townsend; sister, Marcia Miller and her husband Curtis of Clearwater, Kansas; brother, Marvin Rains and his wife Phyllis of Wellington, Kansas; brother, Bob Daley of Wellington, Kansas along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Alda Daley Rains.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2019 with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at the First Christian Church, Wellington, Kansas. Interment will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, Kansas.

Memorial funds have been established in her loving memory to the First Christian Church or the Avenue of Flags.
