Carol Ann Gibson, 78, was raised to glory in the presence of Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, on February 28, 2019, after a valiant battle with a long illness. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God sustained her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace, to the glory of God. Carol was born to the late Hoyt W. and Fannie Campbell in Flat Creek, KY. Hoyt and Fannie moved to Dayton, Ohio in the late 1940s, where Carol would meet her husband Doris. Doris and Carol have been married and lived in the Dayton area for the past 62 years. Carol was blessed with a large and loving family, who will miss her immensely.

She is survived by her husband, Doris, their daughter, Doris Ann Patton (and Hank), two sons, Robert Gibson and Stephen Gibson (and Kathryn); nine grandchildren, Michael Goff (and Shannon), Christina Gibson, Christopher Goff (and Anna), Rachel Hammond (and Pete), Lauren Caldwell, Grace Gibson, Annie Gibson, Mary Gibson, Isaac Gibson; nine great-grandchildren, Madison, Samuel, Lucas, Levi, Judah, London, Ezra, Legend, and Brielle. She was preceded in death by her sister Janet Marie Lawson (and Lewis) and is survived by her brother Hoyt R. Campbell (and Linda) along with many nieces and nephews.
