Bessie Ann Cassell McLaughlin, 86 of Cass, W. Va. was the widowed daughter of the late Jacob and Louvina Curry Cassell. Burial will be in the Wanless Cemetery on Back Mountain. Mrs. McLaughlin died in a Summersville convalescent home. A lifelong resident of Cass, she was a member of the United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Annie Varner and Olive Cook, both of Cass; three sons, Ira of Oregon, Harmon, Charleston and Capt. Norman McLaughlin with the U. S. Navy; three sisters, Mamie Tallman, Cora Cassell and Grace Cassell, all of Cass; two brothers, Austin Cassell, Davisville and Brice Cassell, Cass; ten grandchildren and a greatgrandchild.
