Michael was born on December 2, 1949, in Worcester, MA the son of the late Lawrence and Edna (May) Bird. He was an active member and supporter of the Laconia Elks Lodge #876, rising to high ranking positions including past state president and exalted ruler. The Laconia Elks Hoop Shoot was his favorite yearly tradition. Mickey also enjoyed camping, playing pool, golfing and listening to the oldies. He was an avid baseball and sports fan.
Mickey is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 41 years, Marjorie; his children. Mickey also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
In addition to his parents Mickey was preceded in death by his son Darryl Boucher and his granddaughters Ashley Thomas and Amelia Boucher.
Interment with military honors at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.
