Myrna Marie Tipton Brown, age 78, of Doddridge, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 21, 2019 at her home.
Myrna was born December 19, 1940, in New Summerfield, Texas to Francis Marie Tipton of New Summerfield and William Dellis Tipton, Jr. of Jacksonville.
She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She loved gardening and working in her yard, spending time with her husband who she has missed very much, and shopping.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Raymond Joe Brown; daughter, Tracy Brown Baker; brother, William Dell Tipton; and her husband of 61 years, Roy Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Marie Brown Barr and husband Billy Bob of Atlanta, Texas; four grandchildren, Blake Barr and wife Taylor, Sunni Clements and husband Cole, Sarah Barr Lilley and husband David, Megan Brown; two great-grandchildren, Emma Barr, Cruz Barr, Sisters, Donna Tipton Humphrey and Lori Tipton; brother, Doug Tipton; and a number of nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Gene Parker officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Hanner Funeral Service.
