Greensboro- Brittany Nicole Perkins, 28, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Leon Morrow officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.

Brittany was born in Greensboro, NC to Todd and Amber Perkins. She was a graduate of Northwest High School and attended Guilford Technical Community College to study early childhood development. Brittany loved cheerleading, outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing and kayaking. She loved taking care of other people. She worked at Christ United Methodist Church afterschool program, Kids Ahead, for many years. She worked as an office manager in the family owned business, Highway Guardrail, LLC.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Taylor Van Perkins and grandparents, Maynard and Janie Perkins. Brittany is survived by her parents; brother Todd Allen Perkins, Jr and sister, Ava Reece Perkins all of Greensboro; grandparents, Diane Blake, and Jim and Ione Blake; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SIDS Foundation, 1600 Pinto Lane Las Vegas, NV 89106.
