Thomas spent his spare time at different churches around Vero Beach, FL ministering to several through his infectious spirit and his gift of singing. He adored his family, friends, and community. He was a pillar to many, always healing souls, one joke and laugh at a time. Thomas was the truest definition of a hard worker. A self-made man, he magnetized his passion for lawn care into a business he built from the ground up, creating success for himself and his family. God’s blessings allowed him to be a blessing to so many who knew him. Being a steward of help is what he enjoyed the most. One could always count on Thomas.
On Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14, 2019, God called Thomas Lee Buckner age of 75, home to rest. He fulfilled his purpose here on earth. He manicured God’s beautiful land with his own hands and with the help of a friend, he passed with love in his heart and the will to fight as he carried out what he cherished so dearly. Thomas will forever be deeply missed by his family and friends. Left to treasure all his amazing, and loving memories: a loving and devoted wife, Delois Buckner; two daughters, Diane Buckner- Webb (Tony) and Jennifer Buckner; three grandchildren, Tony “T.J.” Webb, Morgan “Alex” Williams and Thomas Buckner Webb; three sisters, Juanita Smith, Versonie Monroe (John), Ruby Buckner; two sisters-in-law, Althea Buckner, and Lula Jenkins; mother-in-law, Rose Dawson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
