Information per the Sexton Report. Notes: 30 years old. Disease of the heart, Dr. J.S. King.

Was a member of the Natchez Fencibles, enlisting as a private on 5 March 1861 and later serving as a musician. He was wounded in the left hand during the 7 Days Battles. He later suffered from rheumatism and epilepsy, spending much of the last years of the war hospitalized. He was, in fact, captured in a Richmond Hospital after the city fell on 3 April 1865. He was held at Libby Prison and the Newport News, Virginia. He signed a parole on 16 June 1865.


Grave is most likely unmarked.
