LONGVIEW - Betty Gay passed away, as she slept, early Friday morning after a sudden illness. She was born January 16, 1933, in Longview. She is survived by her husband of over 62 years, Willard Aubrey Jones.
Betty spent her life as a loving and faithful wife and loving mother of two sons who love her deeply, William Aubrey "Russ" Jones who resides in North Carolina and James Allan "Jim" Jones of Longview. She is also survived by Russ's wife, Susan Greer Jones; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and too many loved ones to names.
She will be remembered by all that knew her as a beautiful loving woman full of good and sweetness.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at Welch Funeral Home in Longview. The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. before the service.
