CUMBERLAND — Elizabeth "Betty" V. Wolfe, 96, of Cumberland, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, at home.
Born Sept. 14, 1922, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. Wolfe and Jeanette (Close) Wolfe.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, George William Wolfe.
Miss Wolfe was a graduate of Allegany High School and James Madison University.
She was retired from Allegany County Department of Social Services, where she was involved with home based services for families.
Miss Wolfe belonged to Centre Street United Methodist Church for 90 years.
Among her survivors are a cousin, Sally Keplinger; and her caregiver, Mary Skidmore.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Lloyd McCanna, officiating.
Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
