PRICE, Brenda Berry Born April 28, 1942 lost her battle with lung cancer on March 30, 2017. She is survived by her beloved husband, James R. Price , two daughers, Jacquelynn Green and Teresa Charway, two stepdaughters Anne Sprouls and Amy Lipscome and stepson Tony Price as well as 8 grandchildren and 7great-grandchildren. Brenda lived a very full and active life with many accomplishments. She always thought her greatest was Graduating from Sinclair Community College's Nursing Program with an Associate Degree in 1976 and later getting her BSN from UCLA. She played a big part in forming what is still known as "The Student Nursing Association" at Sinclair. She held Nursing license in OH, IN, VA and FL. She was Charge Nurse at Good Samaritan Hospital for 8 yrs and Grandview Hospital for 5 yrs . She also served as the Ship's Nurse for Carnival Cruise Lines for 2 yrs. Brenda also enlisted in United States Air Force Reserve where she served as a Major in the 906 Tactical Fighter Group, at WPAFB from 1978-1984. She also served her community on the Vandalia Fire and Rescue squad as an EMT and Firefighter 1977-1979. Brenda and her husband Jim also owned and operated three successful businesses; O'Brien's Pub, O'Gradys Bar and Grille and Jim's Pizza from 1997-2004. Brenda was also published in 1979 and 1980 in the Marquis "Who's Who in American Women," Personalities of America and Dictionary of International Biography Book of Honor. She also received awards for "Outstanding Community Service." and " United States Military Commendation" for her efforts in recruiting. Brenda loved to travel to Italy, France, England and Spain where she loved to learn about their culture and try to master their different cuisines to share with family and friends. Brenda was greatly admired for her quick wit and spunk as well as her never quit attitude. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her. Brenda was laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Gardens on April 5, 2017. Rest in Peace and God Bless.
