Sandra E. Spence 84, of Decatur, IL passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, IL, surrounded by her family.

Services celebrating Sandra’s life will begin with the family receiving friends for visitation Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion, IL. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the funeral home. Graveside services will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston, IL at 12 Noon. Memorials may be made to Antioch Christian Church. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.dawson-wikoff.com.

Sandra was born November 8, 1934, in Charleston, IL the daughter of Earl and Josephine (Carrell) Robison. She married Bert Spence on November 17, 1952. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2006. She retired as a floral designer having worked for Creeks Florist, Jewel Floral Department and Coffey’s Flower Shop.

Surviving are her children: Sheryl Clem (David) of Mt. Zion, Pam Stollard (Willie) of Decatur, and Brent Spence (Erin) of Decatur; brothers: Rex Robison (Sharon) and Doug Robison (Carla) all of Lerna, IL; grandchildren: Stacy King (David), Chad Clem (Jenny), Matt Kraft, Adam Kraft (Jennifer), Jimmy Spence (Sarah), Lauren Roberson (Zach), and Dustin Spence; fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter: Karen Sue, grandson: CJ, three brothers: Max, Ronnie, and Gary and her sister: Sharon.
