Thelma Alpha Cook Lee, 93, of Savannah, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2019 at Spanish Oaks Hospice.

She was born in Asher, Oklahoma, but had lived in Savannah, for many years. She was a member of the Wilmington Island United Methodist Church, and a former member of Goshen Road Baptist Church, and Taliaferro Baptist Church, until it closed.

She was a retired employee of the U.S. Army, serving as a Transportation Clerk, and was a volunteer Tax Preparer in retirement.

Thelma was known for her Yeast Rolls (the best in the world).

She is survived by two sons, William Thomas “BIll” Lee, Jr., (Dean), of Savannah, Ga; Andrew Alan Lee (Seleta), Richmond Hill, Ga; a daughter, Anita Larraine Black, (Charles), of Augusta, Ga; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.

Visitation: 2 – 3 p.m. Thursday at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel.

Funeral Services: 3 p.m. Thursday in the Hubert C. Baker Chapel, with Rev. Rob Grotheer, officiating.

Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Friday, in the Woodville Cemetery, in Woodville, Ga.
