Johnnie Jeanell Patterson was born on August 7, 1933 and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 8, 2018.
She was a graduate of Brownfield High School and married her husband, Clarence Edward on May 23, 1953. She retired from Texas Tech University in 1997 after 17 years of service.
Johnnie is preceded in death by her son Daniel Edward Patterson and her great granddaughter Lillian Faye Staggs.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Kay Staggs and husband Jimmie of Rockport, TX and Lisa Caldwell and husband John of Lubbock. She leaves behind four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, four siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family is left with a lasting legacy of love and memories that will last forever.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to make donations to the Garrison Institute at TTUHSC to further studies in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease.
