Mr. Phillip Jefferson “Jeff” Lambert, age 77, husband of Patsy Lambert of 6330 Whitmire Hwy., Whitmire, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 at his home.
God blessed us with the best husband and daddy anyone could ever ask for. Jeff and Patsy Lambert were best friends and married for 58 years. They were the ultimate example of a loving, Christian relationship. God blessed them with two children, Monica Lambert Turner of Union, and Scott Lambert of Clinton; two grandsons, Michael Bradley Sutton and his wife Kelly, and Keith Edward Turner, all of Anderson; one great-grandson, Trevor Canada and wife Chelsea, and great-great-grandson Carson, of Williamsburg, KY.
Jeff had two brothers, Dan Lambert (Joyce) of Simpsonville, Norman Lambert (Linda) of Newberry; three sisters, Phyllis Surrett of Clinton, Joyce Patterson (Tommy) of Laurens and the late Beatrice Sparks of Texas. His parents were the late Phillip and Gladys Lambert of Laurens.
He was a faithful child of God and attended Redemption Baptist Church in Enoree. He traveled and sang gospel music with his family for 31 years. Jeff was retired from Santee Cooper Power Company.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Whitmire Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday night also at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
The family will be at the home, 6330 Whitmire Hwy., Whitmire.
