Shirley was born in Troy, Alabama and at an early age she moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she graduated from West High School in 1972. Just before her high school graduation, she was united in marriage to Charley Frazier on August 28, 1971 and to this union one child was born, who survives her. For the early years of Joe's childhood, Shirley stayed at home. She then worked at several different jobs before she finally settled in as an office clerk working with Joe. She loved to garden, paint her garden statues and write poetry.
Shirley was preceded in passing by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charley Frazier; her son, Joe Frazier; and her five siblings, Roy, Debbie, Leslie, Ramona and Laura. She also leaves behind several friends and other family members who will all truly miss her.
