Angela Jo Mercer Rodgers, 52, of Madisonville, KY passed away, Friday, February 22, 2019 at Baptist Health.
She was born June 4, 1966 to Anita Mahlosky Mercer of Madisonville and the late Glyndon Ray Mercer. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Julia Wooten.
She was a member of the Dixie Flyers Sisters; she worked as an Office Manager in Accounting at Baptist Health for over 18 years; she loved motorcycle riding, traveling and music. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and putting everybody else first.
Angela is survived by her husband, Jeff Rodgers; her mother, a daughter, Mallory Wooten (Samuel) Moore of Madisonville; a son, Allan Rodgers of Raymond, MS, her mother and father-in-laws, Ramon and Norma Rodgers; a brother, Bill Mercer of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Julian Moore, Jackson Rodgers and Scarlett Rodgers and an uncle, Bob (Trish) Mahlosky of Greenville, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Leonard and Bro. Scott Heltsley officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Madisonville.
Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Moore, Allan Rodgers, Mark Vandiver, Gary McCormick, Jeff Scott, Steve Johnson, Joey Mahlosky, and Chad Mahlosky.
