Joseph (Joe) W. Harrison, Jr. 82 of Seymour, Texas passed away on February 19, 2019, in Wichita Falls, Texas of natural causes. He was born on December 8, 1936 to Joe W. Harrison, Sr. and Georgia Vineyard Harrison in Dallas, Texas. He married Nancy M. Carter Harrison on September 1, 1958 in Seymour, Texas.

Joe was a proud graduate of the University of Texas. He was a Navy Officer who served on the USS Ranger and the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. After the Military, Joe became a CPA and continued accounting work for over 50 years. Joe worked for Lybrand, Ross Bros, and Montgomery and was a CFO of a construction company before his career with Lincoln Property Company where he was a Vice President for 11 years. After Lincoln, Joe began a career with Restland Funeral Home. After retiring, Joe and Nancy moved to Seymour, Texas where he continued to provide CPA services to the public. He met and made a lot of wonderful new friends living in Seymour, Texas these last 10 years. God was always important to Joe and he found a wonderful new church and congregation in Seymour that made his retirement for a city boy in a small town very rewarding.

Joe is preceded in death by a son, Carter Wayne Harrison and a daughter, Nanette Elaine Harrison. He is survived by his wife Nancy Carter Harrison, Seymour Texas; a son, Tracy Harrison and his wife Pearl Harrison in Carrollton, Tx; Two Grandsons in Carrollton, Tx: Jack and Carter Harrison and the mother of his grandkids, Suzanne Harrison Smith.

Visitation for Joe will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 3:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, Texas 75243.

Funeral arrangements for Joseph (Joe) W Harrison, Jr. have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
