David H. Burnette, 69, of Syracuse passed away Friday at Loretto. He was a life resident of Syracuse and retired from S. T. Foreign Auto. He enjoyed building computers and spending time with his children and grandchildren. David was predeceased by his wife Cheryl in 1994, his sister, Charmaine Vrooman, his brothers, Frederick, James and William. He is survived by his daughters, Geraldine Burnette, Adriene and Allison Collins; his sons, Timothy Burnette, and David West; his brothers, Gerald and Donald Burnette; sister, Lyda Lamont; his grandchildren, Jessica, Dawn, John, Joshua, Christopher, Devin; four great grandchildren. Services: 10 am Tuesday at the Butler-Badman Funeral Home, Inc., 4504 W. Seneca Tpk. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Friends may call Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Assoc.
