Matthew Eugene Conley 11 week old son of Michael D. and Amanda L. (Barnett) Conley passed away Thursday May 31, 2007 at his families home in Marengo after a courageous battle with many health ailments. He was born on March 6, 2007 in Ashland.
Matthew will be remembered as an extremely happy baby, always smiling his wide open smile. Even in his times of sickness he always had a way of making you smile. His short time on this earth has been considered a blessing; a little boy that brought the family back together. "He will always be loved and cherished in our hearts."
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; his twin sister Morgan LeeAnn Conley; sisters Sierra Ann Barnett and Patricia Lynn Conley; a brother Caleb Michael Conley; maternal aunts and uncles Garland and Crystal Barnett of Marengo, Ohio, Amy and Jimmy McFarland, Stephanie and Tommy Keen, and Chastity Jones all of Mount Gilead; paternal aunts and uncles Jennifer Conley of Nova, Ohio, Stevie Conley of Mansfield, Ohio and Henry Conley of Newark, Ohio; paternal grandparents Michael and Edith Conley; and Matthew's special adopted grandparents Loretta Whitley and Lillie and Elmer Keen.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Patricia and Garland Barnett.
A wake will be held starting on Monday June 4, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. until Pastor Bob Smith officiates services at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the Pulaskiville Community Bible Church, 4865 County Road 98, Mount Gilead. Burial will follow in Shauck cemetery.
Paul Bearers will be Garland Barnett Jr. and Jimmy McFarland
