He is survived by his wife, Evonne Starks Young of Benton, KY; son, Chris Young wife Kara of Hardin, KY; brother, Robert Young wife Linda of Dexter, KY; sister, Hazel Edwards husband Joe of Benton, KY; and one grandchild, Dalton Young of Hardin, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Lou Sirls and her husband Kenneth.
A memorial service will be at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Impact Church with Sam Bryant officiating. There will be no visitation.
