Daniel "Light"Rivera , age 61, passed away in Rankin, Texas on Saturday, February 23rd, 2019.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 6:30 pm at Miller Family Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Michael Udegbunam and Father Anthony Franco officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Mitchell County Cemetery, Colorado City, Texas.
Mr. Rivera was born on August 21st, 1957 in Loraine, Texas to Jose de la Luz and Gregoria Rivera. He married Grace Hinojosa on June 22, 1984 in Colorado City, Texas. He worked in the oilfield, coached Little League, loved his family and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to play pool, horseshoes, riding his motorcycle and playing with his grandkids. He loved supporting all of his family, in all sporting events.
